So, the other day I picked up an unknown phone call and as soon as I had responded I heard my conversation partner say to the person beside her (in Hokkien, which I happened to have the privilege of understanding):

"Eh, cannot be this person la. This person speaks English. Even when speak Chinese also sound like English."

And I never knew wrong numbers could tell you so much about yourself.

P/S: The Ngee Ann Poly Open House was ok. Quite like Singapore Poly's, except with a more teen-catered goodie bag? But it was a bit long and tiring? We didn't explore at all.
